Alex, eloquent as always, sputtered something vague in response, before giving up on words alltogether and resorting to giving Tooki a middle finger instead. Mitra was dutifully ignored by all.

Jora took a swig from the dirty whiskey bottle, and barely managed to swallow, before he got an elbow to the ribs and a heavy army-issued boot to a shin, and Alex claimed her drink back. Jora was the only person that could pull that shit off and not get murdered on sight, but even he should watch himself when Alex was in one of her moods. And today, she definitely was. A mood to fight about eveything and nothing, to be exact.

Right now, Mitra was definitely breathing too loud. And smilling too wide. And generally existing. Alex was already pissed off. She drank some more whiskey. It helped a little.

Mitra locked eyes with Alex and his grin widened exponentially. His black eyes seemed to glow inwardly, and they held a message in them. The message was "do you want to fight now, or should we drown them first" probably, if Alex still knew how to read Mitra's eye-messages. She send him an answering look of her own, saying "no drowning, but we can steal their food, and then fight". Mitra blinked slowly and grinned like a cat that's got the cream - which, by the way, is a very weird saying considering most cats are lactose-intolerant - his eyes saying "I grab the bread, you grab the sausages". Alex smiled wolfishly, sharp elongated fangs showing.

Someone cleared their throat very loudly. Alex and Mitra looked at annoyed Tooki, their eye-contact snapping.

Alex stopped right by the edge of the water and sighed heavily. She rolled her neck, then her shoulders, then she kicked a stone. It yelped in surprise as it hit the water and sank. Alex sighed again, then plopped on the ground with a flutter of her thin gray coat.

That was a fucking great idea, she thought snarkily. Now she's even more bored than she was before taking that "vacation". Welp, nothing left to do but drink.

She barely had time to reach inside of her interdimensional pockets for a bottle of whiskey, before a giant green car almost steamrolled her over, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Alex ducked and rolled into the icy dark waters of the lake, cursing the entire time.

The jeep screeched to a halt, and three cackling people piled out.

Alex broke the surface and spit out water, glaring at the people with her best death stare.
"You better fucking run, 'cause if my whiskey is on the bottom of the lake, I will put you there too."

"Bring it, Saudare", sneered Mitra with a grin that was definitely too wide for his face.

"Hey, we're supposed to be here on vacation, right? So fucking behave yourselves." Tooki rolled his eyes, popping the trunk of the car, while Jora tried - and mostly failed - to fish Alex out of the lake without getting wet himself.

"Where's the fun in that?" Alex shook herself out like a dog, grinning almost as wide as Mitra when she managed to soake the former god.

"You're in luck, found it." Jora pushed a heavy glass bottle in Alex's hands. It was covered in mud and algae, but it didn't seem to stop Alex from immidiately drinking from it.

Wbiegłem truchtem. Rozłożyłem się na brzegu, czekając na Ellie.

Wstałem i przeciągnąłem się.

Wypiłem większość wody z butelki niemalże jednym haustem, resztę wylałem sobie na głowę.

-Możemy iść. - Nawet się nie ruszyłem. (xD)

Nawet mi się nie chciało ruszyć ręką, zwłaszcza, że było strasznie ciepło i duszno jak na zimę. Słońce w ogóle mnie męczyło.
